3 Easy Pan Sauces To INSTANTLY UPGRADE Your Cooking

I love pan sauces. Why? Because they are both easy and delicious! I don’t always go whole hog on the sauce; what I mean is that I will just use herbs and a bit of wine to finish a salmon filet. Start the fish in olive oil. Add the wine and herbs, and maybe a bit of Dijon mustard, cook with the salmon, remove the fish, then reduce the wine/olive oil sauce.

Here is Brian with three varieties for you to try. By the way, I never used to use shallots, but I do now, and they are great.

Neil Oliver discusses the state of London today, soon to spread throughout the UK, and what it is REALLY about. If you haven’t heard of ULEZ, it stands for Ultra Low Emission Zone.

I wonder when it will be coming here. Actually, our cities are already riddled with CCTV cameras. Fortunately, the USA has a lot more open countryside than in the UK. Here’s an article about

The stated goal of ULEZ is to decrease air pollution by charging small vehicles that are “heavy polluters” from driving on London roads. Enforcement is by a network of cameras that read the license plates of vehicles and charge them a tax of £12.50 daily to drive in the zone if their car does not meet emissions standards.

As businesses, medical facilities, schools and public spaces are beginning to insist on masks again, it is important that this time, we all just say no as much as possible. Whether or not masks work is actually not the point. Personally, I found the Cochrane meta analysis that showed no obvious benefit to mask wearing to prevent infectious respiratory diseases, including COVID-19, to be compelling. More to the the point is that it is our right to chose. Weaponizing public health to control people is a clear sign that our government has moved into dangerous territory.
