To honor all of those who work hard every day, and for those who did so for many years and are honorably retired!
There are many great songs celebrating workers – the good bits and the bad bits. What’s your favorite?

On Labor Day, we recognize the remarkable American workers who comprise the greatest labor force in the world. American workers are the heart and soul of our Nation’s economic resurgence. Since my first day in office, I have followed through on my promise to fight for an agenda that puts American workers first.
According to the United States Department of Labor, the first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City, in accordance with the plans of the Central Labor Union. The Central Labor Union held its second Labor Day holiday just a year later, on September 5, 1883.
By 1894, 23 more states had adopted the holiday, and on June 28, 1894, President Grover Cleveland signed a law making the first Monday in September of each year a national holiday.
2023 is the 129th official Labor Day!
Looks good!
Another thing I have made is a completely roasted tomato sauce – cut tomatoes, carrots, onions, garlic in olive oil with herbs that you like (oregano and basil are good ones.) Roast together and mash or blitz in a blender (remove the tomato skins if you like), then season with salt and pepper. Delicious!
This is true. And I’m keeping an eye on Wide Awake Media. They are posting useful and informative posts on Twitter.
Think about this for a while. What would be the best and most Constitutional resolution? My first reaction was to type out a quick reply, but then I stopped to think. I’m still thinking.
Adios Jimmy!

He lived his life like a song till the very last breath and will be missed beyond measure by so many.”
