From PragerU:
It’s been one year since Charlie Kirk was assassinated. Twelve months since a husband, a father, and a committed man of God was silenced in an act of pure evil.
There’s a terrible irony here. Many who hated Charlie—who wanted him gone—never actually heard him themselves. They were only told what Charlie said. They never heard his ideas directly from him.
We’d like to change that. We want to show the real Charlie—the Charlie we knew.
Dennis spoke at many of Charlie’s events, and Charlie adored Dennis as a friend and mentor. Dennis adored Charlie, too—as a friend, and as someone who represented the best possible future of America.
Charlie liked to say PragerU was the Air Force and TPUSA was the Army of the young conservative movement.
Charlie’s mission was to reach as many young people as possible, and he did it in a way almost no one else could. He didn’t shout anyone down. He wasn’t rude or demeaning. He asked questions and wanted meaningful dialogue.
And when people actually heard him, it didn’t match what they thought they knew. Not even close.
Which is what makes his assassination more heartbreaking still. What changed people’s minds was Charlie himself.
It is hard to convey how devastated we still are by Charlie’s murder. A year’s time hasn’t made it any easier.
But we know what Charlie would want us to do. We will fight to preserve the Judeo-Christian values he cherished and the America he loved. And we will do it with greater determination than ever before.
We’d like to share some of Charlie’s PragerU videos with you, including PragerU CEO Marissa Streit’s “How Charlie Changed America.”
That is how we will honor his memory. Our deepest hope is that we will be worthy of it.
