OKC Fire: Service does not always stop when the emergency is over.
Crews recently responded to a medical call involving a man who became ill while mowing his yard. After providing care and getting him safely into the ambulance, we noticed the yard was only half finished.

You can adopt police dogs that flunked training for being too friendly.
Instead of sending them to shelters, agencies like the TSA, Department of Defense, and various police departments have their own adoption programs, giving these lovable “dropouts” a second chance as family… pic.twitter.com/Wel7Yp9PFf

This is America. 🇺🇸
An 18-year-old Waffle House waitress in Texas stopped in the middle of a breakfast rush to cut up an elderly man’s ham because his hands were too weak after surgery.
A stranger snapped the photo. It went viral.

On this date 250 years ago, our nation officially adopted a new name. 🇺🇸
On September 9, 1776, the Continental Congress directed that “United States” replace “United Colonies” in commissions and other official documents.

If anyone would like to see a short video of a cat wishing, more than anything in the whole world that there wasn’t some glass separating it from this little piss-taker, this is your lucky day. pic.twitter.com/Rwi5yKWdHx

Have a great day!

Love the videos, Stella. I’m partial to the man who uses his drones to save pets. Bless him!

Since this Italian policeman looks like good news to me, this seems to be the appropriate place to post the following #short….

Wow. Handsome and Italian. That little wink when he got the picture about did me in.

Yes, indeedy! Nice hair, too. Genuinely handsome. I’d wager that he’s the kind of man who is a family leader, one that Italians call a “padre premuroso.” which means caring father.
Hope he gives the photo to his wife or girlfriend.

I passed the dog adoption info along to my son. They are currently fostering a retired dog who served in the Green Berets because his person (his former military handler) was assigned overseas for a year. At the end of that year we are all going to be lost without Walter, and my nine year old grandson is going to experience real heartbreak for the first time.
Thank you Stella, maybe this can be an option for them.

I think Leader Dogs for the Blind has an adoption program for dropouts too.

Everything everyone said, and I laughed out loud twice at the parakeet!

I had to watch the parakeet pitching a fit a couple of times. They are all uplifting.

Good evening, everyone!
This is a pleasant, useful and entertaining compilation.
Menagerie, I hope your family can find a new canine for your grandson. Perhaps before Walter returns to his former handler. It might ease the “breakup”.
That parakeet? Either well-trained, or a definite character, no doubt intelligent. The contract between the two birds is remarkable.
