Good morning everyone, hoping you all celebrated our 250th with lots of good food and fun.
I’d like to ask for your prayers. My oldest son was injured in an accident on his farm Friday night, very serious condition. He’s got a number of bad injuries and is facing a long and hard recovery. He went initially to the smaller hospital nearer their farm, then was transported to Vanderbilt.
At this point his injuries are not life threatening, but very serious. And very painful, including six broken ribs.

I lurk, but have been so busy trying to get my house repaired, medical issues, dealing with grief of brother’s death & record breaking heat & humidity, etc., I just have not had much energy. I really do pray that once house is repaired, health will improve, & I can get back to a good routine.
Thank you Stella & everyone for your blog posts. It is a respite in challenging times I am truly grateful for.
I pray everyone is doing well & continued health, peace & God’s joy to you all.
