Stellars…Happy Taco Tuesday!
Riga, capital of Latvia, on the Daugava River…
“Known for its impressive Art Nouveau architecture and beautifully preserved old town, Riga offers a unique blend of medieval history and early 20th-century elegance.”
And, yes, Riga does have restaurants serving tacos…the one serving these…
…is called Latvian Heroes and they make burritos, too, until late at night.

Happy Taco Day to you, ern! Glad you liked the vid and photos. I slipped the map into the mix just in case anyone else besides me didn’t know where Latvia is.

Mornin’ All. It is in the high 40’s here today and pretty overcast. Doesn’t even feel cold. LOL I think it is going back down into the 30’s in a few days.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning, everyone! It’s been a busy three days here. The snow is gone due to rain and above-freezing temperatures, which allowed me to repair storm damage on the main house and outbuildings safely. Mission accomplished before a possible nor’easter predicted for this weekend.
If you don’t like New England weather, just wait a minute—I’ll change!

Sounds like segments of the Great Northwest, ern. Good morning and try to find some restful moments.

Good morning ernn, we have some cold, cold weather coming. I’ll bet yours is much worse, but I hope it fools all of us!

Good mornin’, ernn! We’ve got to get you out of the carpentry business pretty soon. Time to start sitting on your porch a little bit more. Coffee’s ready, sir.

Good mornin’ Tex! Even though I’m retired it never, ever gets boring. It never ends, but deep down I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Thanks for the coffee and must admit I was a bit overwhelmed by today’s coffee pot.

31* here with no snow or rain, just fog over the lake. Going to be 40’s to 60’s this week with sun.

Good mornin’, and happy Tuesday! While we’re having tacos, I felt like something shiny this morning. Closing in on our first year-end. Wonder what kind of clearance DJT has in mind. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

I had not heard about this yet. Do we have a new arrow in our quiver? Sure does sound like it.

I read about this the other day. It scared the bejeebers out of the Cuban guards.

Okay, my tip of the day, I just saw on Facebook. Want to have better conversations with people? Ask questions that give them the chance to talk about themselves. Like what the heck is wrong with you?

National Shop for Travel Day – clothes? Or stuff TSA says is ok?
National Korean American Day
National Sticker Day
National Stephen Foster Memorial Day – I know he’s on the outs with some lefty’s, but his music was beautiful and popular.
National Peach Melba Day – can’t say I’ve ever eaten it, but sounds good
National Rubber Ducky Day

We had a week or two studying the music of Stephen Foster.

Peach melba does sound good. I always liked Stephen Foster music. We used to have a Rottweiler who had a yellow rubber ducky that he carried around squeaking. He had I for about 2 years and never bit into it.
