Good morning, Texan! Yes, getting up really early on Thanksgiving Day always included watching the Macy’s Parade, especially after I saw MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET when I was about 10 years old.
Be over for coffee later. I’m needing about a gazillion cups today.

Good mornin’, and happy Monday! Can’t wait to see which prima donna is gonna throw a hissy fit first this week. The antics of these clowns reminds me somewhat of the zoo scene from the 70’s movie, Cooley High. I continue on my quest to find different an unique coffee pots or coffee makers and they’re still out there. I don’t know the origin on this one, but it’s certainly different. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

Wow, Texan! Love these! They are dangerous, though, because seeing them just might send me off to an antique mall in person to find matching cups. OH, HAPPY DAY indulging one’s obsessions. $500 or $600 later, I’d have to be taken out on a stretcher.
Instead, let’s see what I can find for cups to match online.

My brother and I settled on the same menu as last year. Broiled salmon, rice, mixed veggies, and PIE. Easy on the shopping and prep, and just what we both felt thankful for!

Afternoon All. Overcast, gray, and rainy here right now. This is supposed to turn into snow. It is down in the 30’s so it seems like it might happen. I need to run to the store here in town, so I guess I will go ahead and get that done. I doubt the weather will get bad, but you never know here.
Went to my son’s for dinner yesterday. My DIL had gone to pick up the girls and the boy was left with his father. My son was making pancakes and the baby was mimicking him. The little guy pulled a bowl and some utensils out of the cabinet and started stirring and acting like he was cooking. He wanted some cheese and when he got it he took a spoon and started stirring it in the bowl. It was hilarious. He is so much fun. But, he is all business when they put him in his highchair, just like his dad was.
Hope you all have nice weather and look forward to Thanksgiving.

This past Thursday, unshaven Congressman Eric Swalwell declared his candidacy for the governorship of California, despite being constitutionally disqualified to run. At the center of Swalwell’s disqualification is that to become California governor, the candidate’s true, primary, and permanent home must be in the state of California.
The California Constitution and the California Elections Code leave no ambiguity on this point. And yet, Swalwell’s own legally binding mortgage documents state, signed under penalty of perjury, that his home in Washington DC is his principal residence.
