| WeeWeed on It’s Caturday! |

Good mornin’, and happy Monday! Our friends in MN, not the ones in the Cities, made a big pot of coffee this morning. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.
Mornin’ and garcias, T!
Good mornin’, Miss Wee! A truer truth has not been made than that one right there. Coffee up, ma’am.
Morning Wee!
Mornin’ Menage!
Morning T, and thanks. How about a beloved German fall favorite to go with that big pot? It’s apple time. If any of y’all get anywhere near north Georgia in the fall, treat yourself to a trip through Ellijay for any kind of apple you can imagine, plus it’s just a beautiful road trip into the mountains.
You can also pick up some fried pies, canned preserves, cider, and all kinds of other treats at many of the apple barns, and there are a bunch of them. Last time I was there, one of them had even started bottling kombucha, a favorite of mine. But my husband tells me I’m weird and it’s nasty, so who knows if that venture succeeded. Based on the increasing shelf space all the grocery stores give it, I’d say there’s a market.
This one has a how to video!

Mornin’ Tex! I’ll have a large coffee with cream.
Mornin’ T!
Mornin’ kids! Word is, Schmuck and Hakeemo are tired of the sombrero memes. Good.
We’re all getting laughs out of this, but you know it not only enrages the Dems to be made laughingstocks, it hurts them in the eyes on the voters and the world. Keep it coming.
😀
From the d’s favorite radical – RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.
And the only defense is the Trump one. Ignore, beat them at their own game, and keep on going.
After all, they caused the last one, too.
That’s true.
Mornin’ Mom!
Mornin’. 🙂
Good morning Wee!
Mornin’ Ernnburn!
Mornin’ Wee!
Mornin’ Stella!
Mornin’ Stella!
More on the theme of fall in Georgia mountain towns. I know, NE Tennessee is known for Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and the Smokies, but trust me on this, and head into Georgia. Some are more touristy than others, but all have as much or more natural beauty as that around Gatlinburg, and fewer people. Add Dawsonville to this list. If you ever get a chance, I highly recommend Amicalola Fass State Park. Very nice lodge there with a wondered view of mountains forever from all the rooms as well as a huge veranda with rocking chairs. It has a great restaurant and cabins if you prefer.

Now there is one fall road trip I try to make every year from Tennessee. Drive the Cherohala Skyway from Tellico Plains over to Robbinsville, NC. Allow a bit of time to poke around tiny Tellico Plains, stop at this awesome bakery they have (Tellico Grains) and carry you a bag of treats up into the mountains to enjoy at a picnic table with a scenic view. I recommend Indian Boundary for that halfway snack.
I have not seen this whole beautiful country of ours, but I’ve had trips into New England in the fall, every bit of it, the Carolinas, Virginia and West Virginia, the Mid Atlantic states, all over the south, the Ozarks, Sierras, desert in Nevada and California, the wine country in California. If I had only one last trip to choose, it would be that drive.
It’s a don’t miss trip, and though Robbinsville is not a scenic place, keep going a bit into NC to Fontana Lake.
Time to hit the roads soon!
Good morning Menagerie! It sounds lovely.
Mornin’ Menagerie! Drive trips through New England in the Fall can be memory making for sure! Always some place new and exciting to explore.
Bus travelling from Bar Harbor to Conway NH today. Many colored leaves.
I’m glad you are getting to see the fall colors.
Afternoon Czarina, I love New Hampshire! Was a definite go to state and always spent time in N. Conway, NH.
National Coaches’ Day
National Orange Wine Day
National Plus Size Appreciation Day
National Noodle Day
National Child Health Appreciation Day
National Mad Hatter Day
National Consignment Day
Morning czarina, I had no idea there even was an orange wine. Going to stick with my favorite reds here.
I’m guessing some enterprising vineyards must make a pumpkins spice wine too. Preemptive yuck.
Morning czarina! Noodles are winners, I would say.
Plus-size hats!! Mornin’ Czarina!
Good morning czarina!
Mornin’ All. Woke up to 40* and a little bit of sun. It is going to warm up to a toasty 50* later. Guess I need another blanket on the bed…….and to close the bedroom window.
Hope you all are having nice weather and pretty scenery.
Mornin’ mom! Still summery/early fall weather here, but supposed to cool down in a couple of days, with rain.

Watch it at least two or three times to see everything that is going on in the background.
Love it!!! Assclowns.
That is hysterical!
Some fun.

FOTC LMAO. Loki didn’t like this AT ALL. LOL
Tucker slept right through it!
Has anyone here had to use Medicare to get eyeglasses recently? I have been trying to figure out the cheapest place to get them and it always leads back to Walmart.
Two years ago, with my Advantage plan, but I have the lowest tier of coverage. Exam, one set of lenses and one frame every two years, I think.
Well, I am supposed to have $200 for glasses, but they only pay for places on their list and no extras. Guess I will just have to take my prescription in and see what I can get covered.
Depends on the plan you have. They all use national chains like Walmart and EyeMed. The problem is that most eyewear is owned by one conglomerate and it’s hard to find anything “cheap”. But you can take your prescription to another eye place like Costco and then submit a claim to your insurance company. A good Medicare agent can help you with that.
Thanks.
