Good mornin’, Miss Wee! I’ma prolly watch it on the TeeVee as it will be a madhouse. I’m pretty sure everyone in town will be trying to get a glimpse. Hoping that GS can get a couple pictures at the airport of Marine One and their escort . No pictures allowed when getting in/out of Marine One……or else.

Mornin’ All. Beautiful day here. Slightly coolish and very sunny. We did get some rain here yesterday afternoon, but by the time I got the bedroom window closed it had stopped. It did cool it off.
I finally planted a hosta that I had had here in a pot on the porch and by the next morning all the big leaves were gone. I guess deer like hostas. (sigh)
That is a nice coffee pot. Very sleek. It may be bigger than it looks. Hope you all have a nice day.

If our team plays their cards right, it’s not inconceivable to have at least 16 years of goodness after Trump. Vance, DeSantis, Rubio now, Noem, who knows. Get Cruz and Mike Lee on the Supreme Court in the next few years……..

I haven’t seen this on teh FB yet, but apparently, it was getting some airplay that teeh heartthrob, Rachel Maddow has been all over the rescue efforts. Even Snopes says…………that’s a lie! Looks like she was even more of a saint than Peyton Manning! 😉

Quite a busy day, but enjoying it, as you tool around in a vintage auto, stopping in at the local bakery for a blueberry muffin and the obligatory coffee.
Noting that classic cars use more gasoline, you stop in at a 7-11 before you run low.
Off to the market, where you park carefully and pick up a few necessities. While there you add some really tasty Rainier cherries for an elderly neighbor, who lives alone, but always waves “hello” and asks if you have time for a chat.
You pass the community dog show stop to take some photos of those All American canines. The local shelter has some of its residents up for adoption so you’re taking some shots to be used in their ads.
You stop in at a local cafe that has good food and excellent French fries.
When you stop by to drop-off the cherries, the neighbors asks if you would a cooling drink. You say “yes, thanks” thinking that she will have some iced tea, but she brings a Mojito instead.
You both laugh and have a very good visit indeed!

Time for the New Orleans Running of the Bulls!!! Held annually in conjunction with Bastille Day Weekend, and lots of other a Francophile stuff. The Roller Derby women act as the bulls. NO can make a party about anything…
