Mount Parnassus, a place I have always thought I would like to visit. It is the home of Delphi. The ancient Greeks considered the centre of the world to be in Delphi, marked by the stone monument known as the Omphalos of Delphi (navel).

I took one year of German in high school (and 3 years of French). There are pluses and minuses to both. Here is a linguist that I follow. He is British, living in Germany, and speaks fluent German and French.

Mornin’ All. Sunny and bright out today, but a little chilly. All in all, not a bad day.
The people downstairs have always left a light on all night on their patio. I had no problem with that, but now they have added a string of lights and they are very bright. I woke up last night and was lying there expecting the sun to come up completely. It was about 3:30 I guess when I woke up. So, now I am looking for a way to put another curtain up over the mini blinds to block some of the light. I don’t mind some light in the room, but this is ridiculous. Seems a pretty easy fix, though.
