Good mornin’, and happy Saturday! The weather just blew through here and woke both of us up. Hail about pea-sized for just over 10 minutes. Could have been a lot worse. We are finally getting some rain. Might as well start the coffee! Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

Mornin’ there, T! I hate it when that happens!! We’re in for it all day, too.

Good mornin’, Miss Wee! I was hoping that the only thing jiggling with my breakfast was the scrambled eggs!

Mornin’ Wee! I once had a cat that brought me presents.

Mornin’ Stella! I’ve had several, too.

Thanks T, I was going to do up a batch of biscuits and bacon, but Wee beat me to it! So I’ll just kick back before my day starts rushing along, and enjoy your coffee. Good morning, and glad you guys didn’t get any worse weather.
Because my family were once pioneer farmers on the plains of Kansas, and my grandfather wrote a book about it, I sometimes think about the gut wrenching experience of watching the weather destroy your entire year’s work and livelihood in a moment or two.

Good mornin, Menage! You’re absolutely right. We really don’t know what hardship is in these days and times. And I’m glad for that. But we are relatively soft when comparing generations.

Bad weather will come overnight tonight into half of tomorrow. Grey and windy again today.

Good mornin’, czarina. Y’all be safe over that way. You’ve been hit a lot worse than we have.

Mornin’ Tex! Hope you didn’t have any damage.

Went out and checked and it looks like we dodged the bad stuff.

I’m in on autism, of course. I love road maps too. Give me an atlas, and I can entertain myself for a couple of hours.

Flash drives are still a thing. Not a giant thing, but still around. I’ll go for the pizza, like Stella and just hope no one tries to trick me with the raisins.

I’ll go for pizza, but don’t anyone try to do something against Mother Nature like that!

Useful info for those who want to buy American:
I knew about New Balance, but not the others.

I went to the Opie Way website and everyone of the women’s is sold out. And holy cow, we’re talking $300-400 shoes here. I commonly pay close to or more than $200 because I really must have excellent shoes now with the ankle and foot injury, but wow.

I wore SAS for most of my working years – super comfortable, and my regular walking/tennis type shoes are SAS. DH wears the New Balance.

The SAS prices are fairly reasonable, and the shoes look comfortable.

I’ve been wearing NB for twenty years, because I wanted to Buy American. Also drive cars made in America, and look for any other choice I can make. The NB shoes are comfortable and have run about $100 and up. I check for the ones made in America with all American parts, as some are partially .

Mornin’ All. It is a beautiful, sunny day so far. The weather guessers say it will be sunny all day and will be up in the 50’s.
Poor little Loki is having tummy troubles, I think. She paced all night and is lying with her butt up which means her tummy hurts. Also, she threw up a little bile. Guess I will try some oatmeal in a while. That sometimes helps. Poor thing.
Hope your weather gets better. At any rate, stay safe.

It is said that canned pumpkin is good for dogs with stomach upset.

Yes, but she won’t eat it. I guess she doesn’t like pumpkin. Knowing dogs, she might prefer cat poop.
