    Morning Lucille,

Thank you for the squirrel photo and story. They are a nuisance sometimes, but cute and smart at others. (Depends on your perspective and what they’ve damaged.)

The rescue of the squirrel says something good about retaining compassion in our society where appropriate.

And when a squirrel must wear a cap, it’s cold!

Good morning, Reflection! Little wild creatures can be, well…wild. People have domesticated squirrels for eons, though. My maternal grandmother had one when she was a young teen. It was all the rage at the time.

Good mornin’, and Happy Friday eve. Hopefully things will calm down for awhile, but regardless, we need our nectar. This is a steampunk design and a working machine. It will only set you back about 15 G’s. Keep your head on a swivel and Carpe’ your coffee.

A few days of really nice weather will be followed by really cold weather, likely with rain or drizzle for days. Winter in the coastal south.

National Cream Puff Day – there’s a treat

National Personal Trainer Awareness Day – can be costly, but having a personal nag to guide your improvement would have benefits

National Science Fiction Day – my favorite for over 60 years

National Buffet Day – great, just what I need. More food…..

Loved cream puffs as a kid. I think I last had one 15 years ago or so. Still good! Not sure if the Trainer and Buffet Day will work for me!

SyFy! Been watching the Twilight Zone marathon for 2 days now since 2024 was the longest episode ever. Mr. Serling was prescient, I swear… “The Obsolete Man,” a case in point.

Good day, Czarina! A buffet featuring cream puffs would be to my liking…

I was hoping to get a “personal trainer” to come to my home and checked into it. Alas, no home visits were offered unless I had my own gym. Laughable! Totally inconvenient as I have no personal transportation and public transportation is not available in my area to get to her clinic offices several times per week. C’est la vie!

Mornin’ All. Snow on the ground and a little falling. They said it will keep up for days. It is just a dusting so far, pray it stays like this.

I went to the apt to drop off some things and met the downstairs tenant. He is a handsome young man who lives with his girlfriend. He is 21 and was well brought up by his mama and daddy. He knocked on the door and introduced himself. He is definitely not one of those creatures out there protesting, etc. He told me that he and the other men, there are only 4 apts do all the shoveling. When I said I could do some, but only a little, he acted horrified and said he didn’t want me to do any shoveling. I guess there are perks to being old. LOL

Hope you all down south survive the winter and have a nice day.
