   Renting the expensive vehicles on a ride-sharing site may prove to be an costly mistake on the part of the owners.

   Not much financial background checking there, considering the expensive nature of the vehicles being rented. That would be the responsibility of the vehicle owner.

   Rental prices are relatively low also, compared potential liability of the peer-to-peer relationship of the transaction.

   The question also arises if the insurance companies would be liable since they were used in a documented act of terrorism.
