Morning y’all. I’m not much for jewelry, but I may add another bracelet in response to the blue bead idiots.

Morning Menage! I’d like one of those myself.

Definitely looks like a must-purchase, Menagerie. Drive the Bluebeads nuttier and put a bracelet of red garnet on either side of the Trump bracelet. Then stand back and watch them go into unhinged mode.

I like your ideas Lucille!

I’m pretty sure there are some red stretch bracelets in my jewelry box. So thanks for your initial idea!
And today I’ll show them off at the doctor’s office when going in for a check-up on one of the skin cancer biopsy wounds which is all inflamed (not unusual as a rule, but certainly out-of-the-ordinary for me). Definitely will be wearing them red beads!

Good mornin’, y’all! Halfway through the week and I’m not tired of winning yet. Is anyone else? Happy Wednesday! This is described as an antique brass Turkish coffee maker. It just sounds like it would make some coffee that’ll make your hair stand on end. I think we need that because our lib friends have just been way too quiet, so we need to stay on high alert. Keep your head on a swivel and Carpe your Coffee!

Looks great sitting in the garden. Think we’ll join you there for a cup, and perhaps some Turkish pastries.

Lovely! I’ll just have a cup.

Good mornin’, Texan! Looks like a coffeemaker to send over to the White House after January 20 for use when Erdogan comes begging for mercy and money.
Looks like this Turkish cup makes the assumption the coffee is uber strong, thus its small size….

Here’s a nice brunch item to include with your offerings today, Texan….

I saw something from Vivek that indicated he was initially looking at the Senate seat…….maybe this will give him time to set up for the governor’s race in OH. If these two don’t let their ego’s get in the way, they will surely have quite a list when they get done. Then……….the hard part starts. Anyone remember the Grace Commission? I do.
LikeLiked by 4 people
Did not remember. Looked it up on Wiki, and found it was only a commission with a report and no action.

Pete Grace was a big Reagan guy and they huffed and puffed and as you say…….nothing came of it. There’s still an organization out there – Citizens Against Government Waste, but they’re pretty much a eunuch. I remember being all excited about the whole thing. Youthful naivete’……what a beautiful thing!

A friend of mine worked for Grace. She said he was shocked when Congress praised him and the commission and then proceeded to file away the report like it didn’t exist. It was then he realized they never planned to do anything with it in the first place.

It sure is nice to have that little extra pep in your step over the last week. When most of us woke up last week on Wednesday morning, we awoke to the fantastic news that DJT was going to be our President once again. We’ve heard the talk that he is only the 2nd man to do that in our history. That is not easy to do. But here we are…….WINNING!
Then you have the other guys. Oh well. But I thought this was an interesting take on Cackles. I do not feel one iota sorry for her, or anyone associated with them, but they did her no favors in setting her up for this, and she was a willing accomplice.
FTA – “The Democrats put her in the game, in order to put her on the bench. Her vice presidency was largely ignored by the Democrats. Instead of using the time to prepare her to take over… they did nothing.”

There is no tomorrow for the,. They don’t prepare for life, not themselves, their kids, their political machinations. It’s all just me, me, me, now, now, now.

World Kindness Day
National Gratitude Month
National Indian Pudding Month – In the seventeenth century, English colonists brought hasty puddingto North America, transforming it. Although they initially made the pudding with wheat, due to a shortage of grain, the colonists eventually used cornmeal. Since the colonists had learned to cultivate maize (corn) from the indigenous peoples, the crop was readily available. The colonists derived the name for Indian pudding from their name for cornmeal – Indian meal. They also replaced the water with milk. For added flavor, cooks add either molasses or maple syrup. Other ingredients they added include cinnamon, ground ginger, butter, eggs, raisins, and nuts.

A number of Tennesseans, including me, have been pursuing Marcia Blackburn for days on X and other means. She had originally made this B.S. comment about how she’d support the best man, blah, blah.
Anyhow, we demanded she publicly announce who she was supporting. I do not like Scott, but he’s the best choice of the three.
I despise Mitch McConnell and only fear for my soul keeps me from wishing very bad things for the rat bastage.

No. I need to shut up and wait. I have concerns about a number of appointments, but more out of fear, than knowledge.
However, I am of the opinion that one of President Trump’s biggest failings was in the people he chose last time. To be fair, not even he could have known that no one was trustworthy. I like to think he’s had four years to think a lot about that. But I honestly am shaking my head at some choices, and concerned.
My hard line is Noem. She’s a damned snake.

My approach right now is hope for the best and pray that it works out. I’m fairly optimistic at the moment.
