I saw this quote recently and it got me thinking about things that are happening in the world of sports and entertainment. Sports is becoming more and more expensive to attend, and some sports are hard to find on the TeeVee because of “cable deals” or whatever. College sports are way out of whack with NIL and conference realignments eliminating cross-state and next-door rivalries that were there for the last 75+ years. People are turning away from some of this and I wonder if there’s not something bigger at play in this vein?
