Good mornin’, Miss Stella! We’ve reverted back to mid-summer again down this way. It nearly hit 100* yesterday afternoon in the HOU, but we’re hoping things turn somewhat before Thanksgiving!

Don’t worry, Tex. It will cool off by then. Our high today will be 85°, but I know we will have a frost by the end of October. That’s just the way it goes. In the meantime, I intend to enjoy the heat.

National Double Cheeseburger Day – sounds like a great idea!
National Linguini Day – actually I was going to have fettuccini tonight
National Online Learning Day – this was such a great gift from the internet for the third world.
National Neonatal Nurses’ Day – a specialty for sure
National Tackle Kids Cancer Day – remember the people who work on this matter everyday.
National Cheese Toast Day – maybe need some for breakfast. There was a restaurant in NO that had several combinations that sounded good.
Wife Appreciation Day – good to feel loved and appreciated
National Crème De Menthe Day – I do not like this. Nor mint juleps.

I remember when I fell a couple of years ago. Fortunately I didn’t break a wrist, but I broke my glasses, hit my head, cut my eyebrow and had a black eye. It’s nothing to mess with.
