            You’re welcome, Reflection. Travis and his wife have a mission called Worth and Purpose and this city in Florida (not sure which one) is their mission field. They are always respectful of the people they deal with, becoming friends of many.

            Occasionally they will buy small mobile homes for those in need. Also Travis hands out cash, pays for groceries, clothing, medical bills, motel stays, plus providing free ice cream and other from their food truck.

    National Avocado Day – being from Miami, we ate them daily through the summer and fall

    National Mutt Day – of course mutts

    National Raspberry Cake Day – this could be a nice change

      Morning, czarina! Good stuff today. My aunt in California had an avocado tree in her backyard. And my cousins in Florida had orange, grapefruit and lemon trees in theirs. Good stuff.

        Having fruiting trees around helps you keep in touch with nature. It helps remind you, too, of how good fresh fruit tastes, since it hasn’t been warehoused or unduly treated.

        An apple tree is a common sight on many older properties. Johnny Appleseed did well to establish that in the U.S.

    Mornin’ All. 60*, sunny, and beautiful here. The sky is perfectly clear blue. The big storm that came across yesterday must have cleared it all off.

    I went to a funeral of a man yesterday at our church. It was so packed I almost didn’t get a seat. The pastor said that if he had had 5 more friends we would have had to put them in the choir. It was a beautiful service and I was glad to hear about his rich and full life. He was a very generous, thoughtful, and kind man. I was glad I went even though I didn’t really know him. I feel like I do now.

    Hope the weather is good where you are.

      It’s good that you can appreciate that Aus. Many times we don’t really know someone’s accomplishments until they pass away.

      I’m glad so many people chose to honor him, and learn about his life.

      I sent the “Vance” vid out to a whole bunch of people, and then re-subscribed to The Rubin Report. He got a bit much for me when he was pushing DeSantis’ candidacy so hard. But, forgive and forget!
