Undoing literally everything your predecessor did is not policy. It’s petty. It’s dangerous. And it’s likely to get people k*lled.

Remember a few years back when they put up signs in Glacier National Park that all of their glaciers would be gone by 2020? They’re just now taking the signs down…………..and the glaciers are still there!

Once upon a time I erroneously thought college degrees educated people. Now I actually think most colleges suck any intelligence right out of your brain. And let’s face it, most 18 year olds don’t start with a lot.

The good news from all of this is that our grandkids who have a little bit of brains and are willing to work hard will probably be able to take over the world while most are playing video games or watching tiktak videos on their “smartphone”.

National Anisette Day – don’t like licorice so someone else can celebrate for me.

National Wildland Firefighter Day – a hard job, and dangerous. I picture ex-marines doing this

YES to our fearless firefighters, but NO to licorice unfortunately. Before I was diagnosed with CKD, I drank licorice tea all day. Then I found it was practically poison to the kidneys if you have the slightest problem with them. Who knew!

Mornin’ All. It is in the 50’s here, overcast and just a tad humid. No breeze, so it is nice out with a sweatshirt on. It does look like the sun will peak through at some point.

Yesterday, the humidity evidently set of my smoke alarms intermittently. I called the manager and he actually came over himself and changed the batteries. It scared Loki so bad she was shaking like I had never seen before. It took her a long time to calm down. It is weird that humidity sets them off. I was having to leave the fan in the bathroom on after a shower, and close the door or it would set them off. Hopefully that is not going to be a problem now.

Well, hope you are all safe and healthy.

Judge Merchan is for sure going to be thinking of (& secretly consulting on) ways those “other proceedings” can get President Trump put away before the election….

Judge Delays Trump Sentencing in New York Case

The defense is arguing that prejudicial statements related to the former president’s official acts in office were presented by the district attorney at trial.

    By Catherine Yang – 7/2/2024

New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan on July 2 delayed the sentencing of former President Donald Trump “to September 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM for the imposition of sentence, if such is still necessary, or other proceedings.”
