Mornin’ czarina! I have very fond memories of the drive-in movie, from the times I went with my parents as a child in the 1950’s up until the 80’s, when our last local drive-in went away.

2024 finds higher education struggling to educate but instead opting for indoctrination. It’d be better to go to cooking school and learn how to make delicious edibles like applesauce cake.
Gardening can be exercise. The older I get the more both seem to be avoided, to my detriment, of course. But the mind rebels.
I’d rather be with those who choose to sit in a car at a drive-in watching EXODUS (1960)…and drinking a milkshake from the snack-bar.
Those were the good ole days.

LOL. I just happen to have Fox on and they are showing the D-Day ceremony. Macron started speaking and the closed captioning came up “Speaking French”. I guess cc couldn’t translate without help. And, on another subject, does anyone else think Mrs. Macron looks like a mannequin?

As for Brigitte Macron, she was born in 1953 and Emmanuel in 1977. So there’s likely been a bit of face-lifting. They met when he was 15 and she 40.

Well, I have to say something nice. Her coat looked very appropriate and classy. Better than everything else I have seen her in, skirts and dresses that were much too short, especially for an older woman with ugly skinny legs. Oops. I didn’t quite make it with the nice comment.
