    Good morning! Just saw a guy walking his dog down my street. He was by himself, wearing a mask. I thought that nonsense was over with. Nobody else around and a breeze blowing. Can’t imagine why. Protecting from the wind maybe?

    Mornin’ All. My microwave went “poof” last night. I pushed the button and it just went “poof” and there was nothing. No lights, no nothing. I checked the elect box and the switch was off and wouldn’t come back on. And, I have the kids coming over this afternoon and I need to cook in my regular oven, the maintenance guy would probably be in the way, so I need to wait until Monday for him to come. My big excitement for the day, I guess.

    It is 40* right now and overcast. It really rained last night, and there may have been thunder. It is hard to tell. It sometimes sounds like thunder when the upstairs neighbors run up or down the stairs.

      I remember when these girls were much younger. I always wondered how long they would live. I am glad to see their resiliance.

        Me too! I first read about them in a Life magazine article when they were quite young. They have forged ahead in life in spite of their limitations, and I really hope that this next step in life will be good. I mean, what choice do they have?

          You know, we all have choices, and one of the main ones is to find a way to live with what you have. They certainly seem to have done that, or should I say, are doing that.

    New visitors to my bird feeder! I believe they are a pair of House Finches. I used a 10x zoom on my camera phone. Those vehicles are on the other side of the street.
