Looks pretty innovative and agreeable in this ad, and some of the reviews on Amazon are glowing from mostly long-hair cat owners.
Here’s one of the 1-star reviews…pretty funny writer:
“First of all, this pet dryer is EXPENSIVE but if it helps Mochi with the bath anxiety, then why not? Noooo, I thought wrong. He was so scared in this loud, wind-blowing box, that he peed himself. This made the bath seem pointless at that point. Later, he was so terrified in the dryer that he went on a suicide mission by attempting to crawl out from the opening at the side. So he successfully got himself stuck. It took us half an hour to get him free from the torture box nevertheless to say that he was still wet. Overall I would not recommend this at all to anyone who loves their fur babies.”

Personally, I let me cats wash themselves because it’s part of their ethos!!

In Florida I used to have to wash my 2 Siamese cats with flea shampoo every week! Horrors! Still can see the scars on my arms! Then Shell invented the cat flea collar and life was much better. Now I figure cats are self-cleaning and I don’t mess with Mother Nature.

Agreed! I’ve never given my cats a bath. I know the consequences would be blood all over and it wouldn’t be theirs.

When she was a teen, my daughter worked for a while for a friend’s pet grooming service. She had to bathe – and blow dry! – a cat. The cat bit and scratched her and she had to have a tetanus shot. Fortunately the employer paid for it.

Oh, poor girl! Unless a cat has gotten into something that simply cannot be brushed out, there’s little to no reason for bathing it.

As a kid, all our cats were outdoor during the day and indoor at night. There were furrowed fields everywhere and they were out hunting daily. They never messed up the furniture or their beds with field dirt. So they must have taken care of their fur themselves. We didn’t even brush them.
