Mornin’ Wee. Now that’s my pet peeve; ‘daylight savings’ doesn’t save daylight and just screws up ours and our animals’ daily schedules!! We don’t observe it here except for doctor appointments, etc.

Last March the Senate passed the Sunshine Protection Act, which stalled in the House. It would have made daylight savings time permanent year round.

Good day to you, Stella! I was wondering whatever happened to that. They should bring it up again and set it at regular time. Arizona and Hawaii are the only states which don’t bother with DST.

Mornin’ All. It was 23* when I got up this morning and now is 30*. I don’t know how that happened. It is very overcast and grey outside which makes it kinda dark inside. I figured out why Loki doesn’t want to eat sometimes. If I put too much water in her food, she doesn’t like it. I have to put some, but I can’t make it sloppy. It is so hard to figure these things out. 🙄
I have been reading my granddaughter’s Nancy Drew books. Last night I found a movie that was made in the 40’s. In it, instead of a detective, she was supposed to be a reporter. I was so disappointed in it. They added a boyfriend and his sister and brother and the whole thing was totally different from her character in the books.

Thank you. That is a really interesting article. I will save it for my granddaughter when she gets a little older. She loves these books and the Nancy Drew character. Also, I read this link in the article about updating the Nancy Drew character and I agree with the writer.

Yes, that was it. I wasn’t too impressed, although, if I hadn’t expected the Nancy character to be more serious and mature, I probably would have enjoyed the movie more.

Those are strong words. But the unvaccinated had access to important information about the potential side effects of vaccines. They knew about the risks of severe allergic reactions, blood clots, and other serious health complications. They knew that vaccines did not immunize us. They knew it wasn’t effective, and that they can cause more harm than good.
I can’t decide if that’s parody or not, and according to comments, others can’t either. Who could write the above, seriously?

A couple of anger-making articles from thegatewaypundit on January 6th revelations. I expected nothing from Nancy. However, if filthy Liz and Adam had bothered to really investigate rather than using the committee as a means to destroy President Trump, they would go down in American history as huge patriots and revered for their courage. But no, they chose to lie and obfuscate and now are pariah among those who love America.

I already didn’t trust anything the government said. For most of my life. Now I’m getting better than I ever thought I could at researching pretty much everything pertaining to my health. I’ll never completely trust doctors. Okay, I guess it would be more accurate to say I pretty much don’t trust them at all now, maybe with the exception of my orthopedic surgeon.
