These people are just plain evil and lying liars. Our “former” Disinformation czar has registered under FARA. That means she’s lobbying her own country on behalf of another foreign country. Anyone and everyone on the left is nothing but a hired gun…..although there aren’t many professing to have been on our side who can say much different. Go look up what Trent Lott and Crybaby Boehner have been up to since they left “public service”.

Well, Wee, surviving the holidays when you have leftie relatives is always a challenge. My Mom’s side of the family were all Republicans; so in my leftie days, I never brought up politics at family gatherings. I do remember, though, one of my new cousins-in-law bad-mouthing Mondale’s V.P. candidate, Geraldine Ferraro. The look I gave her made her husband take her aside, explaining politics weren’t to be discussed. LOL!

They were all surprised when I voted for Bush’s second run and likely were ready to check my temperature to make sure I was OK. But, of course, I actually did think Bush 2 was a conservative in comparison to my previous thinking and was quite astonished at my own conversion, then disappointed to find Bushie was a RINO.

I do so miss those old days when the family all gathered together to eat great potluck dishes brought by everyone, with the host and hostess providing the turkey and ham.

Being Southern California, we either took naps in an air conditioned room or went for walks after the feasts. Then we’d gather around the piano and sing patriotic or holiday songs. Just the absolute best memories.

Pikes Peak, the inspiration of the poem America The Beautiful. I had gone so many years to watch the hill climb without ever knowing that tid bit of information, after learning it, the entire experience just became that much more meaningful. And it also provided for me one of those rare moments when “Pop” looked and me and said ” I never knew that”. I savored the moment, he was an exceptionally bright guy.

Afternoon All. Hope your Thanksgiving Day was great. I got to spend it with my family and some of their neighbors who were friendly and entertaining. One married couple were both retired veterinarians and the other was a retired policeman and his wife. Everyone had a really good time.
