Good morning, czarina! So many photogenic scenes and empathic minds toward people, places, and our fellow creatures. Photography has to be one of the most satisfying professions.
And the ability to let go is a gift from God which we can either accept and perfect or let it pass us by. Free will has its virtues and its tethers.

Mornin’. All. We are still in a heat wave, 25*. It was 75* yesterday where my friend lives in Florida. She had had a new heat pump put in back about 5 months ago. They had the temps drop into the 50’s over the weekend and she couldn’t get the heat to come on. A guy came out and evidently there were several things wrong with it, but he fixed it. Then the next day the temps went back up. But, that is good that she got it fixed before a long spell of cold. She has been sick with bronchitis for several months, so I was a little worried about her being in the cold. But, it is all right now.
I am so excited about Thanksgiving. My youngest granddaughter said I could have her room to sleep in. They had moved her into her sisters’ room for a few nights and she decided to stay for me. Their rooms are very small.
I moved Loki’s bed last night to the end of my bed because I thought she would be warmer there. She got in the bed, but in a few minutes she had disappeared and was over in her regular place trying to scrunch a towel up into a bed. So, I had to put her bed back over there. It is against an outside wall and is a very cold spot, but evidently she likes it. Oh, well.

Hi mom! The weather is nicer here today – sunny and in the 40’s without the strong wind we had the past couple of days. I have to make a run to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and make a bank deposit.
Sounds like you will have a nice Thanksgiving with your family. Mine will be here tomorrow evening, so I have to finish cleaning!

Hi Stella! Bet you get a lot of wind there. Our county is generally pretty windy, but it’s not from a bit ol’ freezing lake! Enjoy your company tomorrow – should heat up the house well!

I’m on the east side of the state, so we don’t get the lake effect here. West Michigan is another story!

Good morning, aus! Looks like Loki will have her choice of rooms to sleep in at your son’s home. She can either keep you warm or your granddaughters.
We’ll be at a high of 38 degrees today with some snow. Doable.
