Our Favorite Sunday Columnist has some thoughts on the pipeline and social media this week. Sit a spell and enjoy.

I was thinking about this yesterday, but really don’t know anything about pipelines, etc. Getting info from people who work in the industries is the best way to consider problems. The internet makes it so easy to hear from engineers, medical people, farmers, etc.

Czar and I would have gone to the old library system to look stuff like this up. Remember the Readers’ Guide to Periodical Literature! Before Google and Siri!?! After he retired he spent hours on the computer looking for information, just like we used to do at the library every week. I really miss my time with him in the library.

Young folk will never know the pleasure of perusing the card catalog, or the Reader’s Guide!

Library “stacks” and the accompanying card catalog files…fond remembrances!

We actually grew up with family meals; at dinnertime, when the conversation occasionally got high-spirited, my dad would leap up, disappear and return with the encyclopedia to resolve any questions. First it was the World Book Encyclopedia, then we got the esteemed Encyclopedia Britannica. In the halcyon days before T.V., we’d play chess or gather round the piano and sing in the evenings when we weren’t doing homework with assistance from our parents.

Good day, texan! That’s funny, but I was coming here right now to post the lawdogfiles article. Very interesting and the best explanation so far. Even though Biden is a demented fool, I’d like to think his handler BHO has just a tad more sense than to blow up the pipelines…but you never know how far BHO is from irrationality, either.

Afternoon All. It is staying pretty cool here now. I am having a problem with blankets. I guess I am warm until it gets really cool in the middle of the night, so I tend to kick the blankets off after I fall asleep and then wake up cold about 4:00 AM.

My son and his family, and his in-laws went camping this week and were supposed to be back tonight, but came back early because it rained the whole time and it finally turned cold and they were worried about the kids getting colds. That is too bad since they were looking so forward to the trip.

Prayers for those affected by the storm.
