King Charles III will lead the royal family in procession as the Queen’s coffin is taken from the Palace of Holyroodhouse to nearby St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh for a service of thanksgiving.

From Edinburgh, the Queen’s body will be flown to an air force base near London, and she will be returning to Buckingham Palace.

    Princess Anne looks so overwhelmed and dazed. It’s so striking bc she is always the strong and sure footed one. My heart breaks to see the depth of her pain.

      Yes, she had her mother for 72 years – that’s a long-term relationshp and will take years to let go of. We should be happy when our loved ones go to be with the Lord, but that doesn’t make any it easier to say goodbye.
