Me and Momma listened to this caca on the Serious radio on the drive back. So far, my blue ribbon for being p*ssed off on the radio or TV goes to Bongino! I hope he doesn’t have a stroke, though. Momma said she heard more going from HOU to el Gordito that they even went through Melania’s closets, and every room of their residence. My concern, and I think someone may have mentioned this on another post is the Feds manufacturing evidence.

Olivia Newton-John dead: Iconic pop star and ‘Grease’ actress was 73

Olivia Newton-John passed away at the age of 73.

The “Grease” legend died at her ranch in Southern California Monday morning, surrounded by family and friends following a long battle with cancer.

The sad news was announced on her official Facebook page in a statement reading: “Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer.”

Good mornin’ All. It is just pleasantly cool and will get hotter as the day progresses. My air conditioner ran a few times in the evening yesterday. I can’t remember if I mentioned my first electric bill. I received a formal bill a few days ago and $30 was for the hookup, so the real bill for the month was only $39. I’m guessing I need to put back money for the winter bills. 😯

Loki tried to take off after a doberman that was running loose with some people who were walking a little ways from us. I didn’t know if he had heard her, so I grabbed her up and she quit barking and snarling and the dog went back to his owner. Boy, she wanted to go after him. A little later we ran into a guy walking a small dog and he and Loki hit it off right away. I wish we could have let them play.

I have some thoughts about the new IRS agents that Biden wants to hire. There are too many to just be IRS agents. I think they are to be the military that Obama talked about. That sent chills through me when he said he was setting that up.

    The Great Reset’s Luciferian Minions
By Kelleigh Nelson – August 9th, 2022 – News With Views

When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing — When you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors – When you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you – When you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice – You may know that your society is doomed. —Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged 1957

A personal aside, if you will indulge me: The article mentions a man named Maurice Strong, not exactly a household name, but he was an uber well-connected rich guy who has now gone on to his just reward in the nether regions. In the late 70s and early 80s I worked for a wonderful company with just absolutely terrific people. The head of the company was, unfortunately, a very nice man but also a big liberal and I believe taken in by Strong and the heady atmosphere of being around a famous global businessman. The upshot was that the company bought a lot of Strong’s foreign and domestic assets.

My boss was a lead negotiator. I remember talking with him about this acquisition and saying something seemed off to me and that maybe Mr. Strong wasn’t what everyone thought he was plus perhaps our due diligence had not been thorough enough. It was merely an intuition. I certainly didn’t know Strong personally, but there was just this gnawing feeling in my gut that we were being had. My concerns were dismissed, of course, even though my boss was also a great personal friend.

It’s a case of absolutely despising being right. Not many months after the deal was accomplished and a huge signing party was held, cracks began to be revealed showing that the company had made a humongous miscalculation. The Strong assets weren’t all they were cracked up to be and my happiest of jobs was about to go down the tubes.

Once again my boss was called upon to handle the situation, this time the layoffs and eventual dissolution of a company he also loved. For weeks he agonized over how to handle giving notices to his friends and colleagues and I was sworn to secrecy about who was getting axed in the first wave. IT WAS AWFUL as is often the case when a scam has taken place and you know your research had not been adequate to prevent the outcome. Of course Strong remained unscathed while our company went belly-up. A scoundrel of the first order.

Yes, it was very hard on everyone. A gal pal of mine was very outspoken and when the company President personally apologized to her for the debacle and her losing her job, she told him thanks but the knowledge that some were being taken care of better than others was pretty upsetting. Zing! We all lost on the shares we had in the company. Another friend kept the stock certificate in a frame over his toilet.
