Oh, no. I don’t know what the plan is, but I hope if it is true they have someone good picked out for Florida.

I hope not. I am a Floridian for a last 15 years. Our Governor DeSantis is the best thing that ever happened to our state. He can be President in 2028, easily, no question. But we need Trump in 2024 to undo all that Biden has wrought.

I’d love for DeSantis to get some “presidential” experience under the leadership of President Trump. He’s doing such a fantastic job in Florida, but the Lt. Governor seems quite capable of picking up the reins…

I tend to agree with you, Lucille. As Robert pointed out, Trump will have only one more term, and then DeSantis could run for two. That would be ideal. Trump would be mainly in charge of international policy, while DeSantis could run the domestic.

They would make a fabulous team with DeSantis already onboard the Save America train which makes a trip through the Florida station daily.

I had heard for years that you can’t have a ticket with both from the same state. Here’s the skinny on that. You can.

I simply do not trust DiSantis, far too much money in common with Jeb. His donor list reads like a Bush BBQ guest list. Just my humble opinion.

Everybody has donors, including ones we don’t agree with. I am more interested in what a candidate does, and DeSantis, so far, has proven trustworthy.

I used to feel the same way about DiSantis, Gary; and there is still a small part of my mind that is wary. He really stepped up as Governor, but I would prefer to see someone not so politically-oriented as VP. Someone like Wilbur Ross with his hard-hitting business background who spoke with such logic and obvious depth of experience. As a bonus: he didn’t need anyone’s money (a huge plus for Trump).

The advantage of having DeSantis (or another up and coming conservative politician) as VP, is that they can go on to run for President in 2028. Wilbur Ross is already 84 years old, so he might not even make it through one Presidential cycle. He’s a great guy, but his age is against him.

Obviously not Wilbur Ross. – someone like him, though, who is not for sale to the globalists and also has years of personal business experience. Wilbur has disappeared from the putlic stage…prudently, I might add! He served us well. There are other qualified billionaires out there, though.

I love President Trump. I think his presidency can be viewed two ways. For me He came in and exposed a lot of filth that is in our political system!!! I don’t want him to run again and expose himself and his family to the demeaning and FALSE accusations that they have had and will have to endure going forward!! The more corruption he exposes the more intense the attacks he and the family will have to endure!!! I do think he has a role because of his immense popularity!! Turn the leadership role over to DeSantis and let him carry the torch and just be a asset to him.
