    Just got a text from my daughter. They came home from the weekend to find a tree on their house. Doesn’t look too awful; they are waiting for the insurance adjuster now. It fell on their kitchen and master bedroom/walk-in closet. Top of the neighbor’s tree.

    Mornin’ All. I am going to have to get used to everybody getting up before me. LOL. It is sunny and COOL here. Wonderful. I feel I am finally catching up some sleep and strength. My legs and feet were so swollen after the long drive even though I tried to keep them moving all the way. But, that has almost gone completely. We had another t-storm last night. The lights even went out. I don’t know for how long. I was told they rarely have t-storms, but that is the second in 3 days. I love t-storms, so that may have just been the weather’s welcome. Ha, ha. Hope all have a nice day.

    My roommate was dating James in the 70s. When the shock wears off, maybe I’ll tell some fun and sweet stories about him. He was a darling and caring man.

    Just ate the first ripe tomato from my backyard. So delicious – I will definitely plant that variety again. It’s a Tigerella, which is red with orange stripes. Here’s a picture (not of mine; I ate it.)

    They are small (about 2″) and juicy.
