Hi Pa! The neighbor next door at my old house had a wisteria trained to be a small tree. It smelled so lovely when it was in bloom!

Actually sounds better than then new-fangled, on-line, commercial ways. I mean, you can actually see the person, as well and find out what kind of liquor he or she likes…

What you can do is generalize where a person comes from by the choice of their drink or no drink. Tastes evolve and so does the spirit. Not to get psychological here, but a person’s taste does speak volumes. Do they drink it “neat’ or with ice, water, or soda? Do they “shoot” shots or sip them? Do they drink coffee black, or cream and sugar? Tea with or without a sweetener? You can get a fair idea of the individual before they say a word to you. I loved the course of “body language!”

Mornin’ deacon, and all ya’all-all! Clear skies, warming up fast. Gonna make the GGS help me move some concrete stones to surround the Pump Mansion my brother built. Kid is 14 and strong…

Mornin’ all. Our Favorite Sunday Columnist is not real impressed with the “leadership” in DC at present. Here lede includes the word “stupid”, and the article includes “nincompoop”, so that should give you an idea where she’s going. Coffee will be up shortly. Enjoy.

Hello All. We are in Ormond Beach. A terrible storm came through Central Florida yesterday. We waited until the rain and heavy wind quit to head to the beach. It it about a 3 hr drive. By the time we got here the sky was perfectly clear, only a little windy. The surf is really rough, but it has been beautiful all day, although a little cool, probably in the 60’s. I couldn’t get on the Internet last evening even though supposedly I was connected. Nothing I tried helped. This morning, no problem. Hope things are going well for all.

IDITAROD UPDATE
Howdy race fans! Race day 7 completed about an hour and a half ago and race day 8 has begun. The first 10 teams have reached the Bering Sea coast at Unalakleet (YOU-na-la-kleet) and half have moved on towards Shaktoolik and then Koyuk. That’s 90 miles of harsh wind and blowing snow on the frozen surface of the Bering Sea. It can be brutal. Brent continues to hold the lead, about 16 miles ahead of Dallas, with about two more hours to get to Koyuk and off the sea ice. Both teams are resting in the midst of a blizzard on the ice. The checkpoint at Koyuk will be a welcome sight. From there it is 171 miles to Nome. The winner should finish sometime on Tuesday.
GO DOGS!
