Mornin’ Wee. Weather is the same as yesterday. My friend is all worried because she said it is supposed to get really cold tomorrow. ALLLL the way down to ……………gasp …..39*. Loki says she doesn’t care. I will be so glad when I can get this WordPress figured out. It has worked well for so long and then suddenly doesn’t. I made a mistake and set up two layer sign in. BIG mistake. Now when I try to “like” something, I have to go through the two layers and it doesn’t work. It is a mess. Well, anyway, hope all stays safe in the blizzard today.

Hey y’all! Second day of a blizzard here with no sign of letting up. We’ve had about a foot of new snow in the last 36 hours. Our snow plow guy came last night just as we were getting home from our Republican District meeting. We haven’t left the house since, and now he already needs to come back! At 80 bucks a pop, I’m wishing he had just waited till today, since we’re going out for supper tonight. Oh well. He does an excellent job and takes good care of us. Just before the storm started, he was up on our roof shoveling off the 3′ snow pack up there before the weight collapsed the garage roof. Good thing; this current blizzard would have added quite a few pounds to the roof. One thing about living in Alaska, ya gotta love winter. And I do, but I’m ready for this particular storm to blow on outta here! Fortunately our temps are in the 20s, not down around zero, which is much more tolerable.
Has there been any word of Lucille? I keep thinking about her and hoping she hasn’t fallen ill. Stella, could you email her and inquire?

Hi Tundra! Hunker down under that snow – I don’t think I would like it. Bad enough here in Michigan. I think Lucille’s absence just has to do with her computer, but I’ll check some time in the next couple of days.

Started snowing in Charlottesville around 4 p.m. as rain turned to sleet then to snow. Still snowing at almost 11 p.m. but predicted to stop soon. Maybe 1-2” they said. Let you know in the morning.
