    Mornin’ All who show up later. A little foggy and very humid, about 70* here. I am sick to death about hearing about covid. You can’t turn on the radio or any TV station that can talk about anything without relating it to covid. On the brighter side, they did say on a local radio station that the hospitals were not full and that everything is at normal levels. Stay healthy.

    Morning All! (Hahaha I just made it in b4 noon – or at least I started typing b4 noon! 😉 )
    Gorgeous photo today Stella! I know how cold it is taking sunrise winter photos – you have to keep not only yourself from freezing, but the camera as well!

    The 1st 3 of these paintings are by Jessie Wilcox Smith who painted many beautiful imagess. This 1st one is very dear showing a young boy lighting a candle in the window on Christmas eve for Jesus. We still do this to this day, but now battery operated.

    The 2nd is simple, but very lovely showing a motherly moment of Jesus and Mary

    This 3rd is actually perhaps my favorite of these 4 today. It shows the baby Jesus with His arms raised to His mother, and Mary with her arms crossed, kneeling, as in worship and wonder.

    The 4th is by NC Wyeth 1912 “It was then not a dream. It was the sign unto them” showing the shepherds adoring the baby Jesus.

    Have to run, cook food, try on new compression garments, and write out Christmas cards on top of everything else today – Oh and the weather from here is it’s cloudy, icky fog and too warm!

    Oh My Gosh! DH just told me today is National Bacon Day! 🙂

    Here’s a maple bacon pie for us all to share

    What’s your favorite bacon food?? Honestly, mine is just the local bacon we get without any preservatives, just smoked and a little maple syrup added for sweetness. – YUM – I take it straight!

    I’m beginning to pick up on most avatars that are animals are mostly dogs. Now that I have one myself (My Lab is waiting on me when I pass, I hope he is), I’ll be changing mine to maybe a Steelhead or something similar that I get to use my camera on.
