    Good morning everyone. First Sunday of Advent, a time to prepare ourselves for the coming of Christ. Not for the holiday, the presents, the decorating, the feasting. The Church gives us this time to spend some quiet time, waiting, reflecting, anticipating, just as Mary must have. And even so, we have important tasks. Just as she rushed out to share her good news with Elizabeth, and put herself in service to her cousin, so may we reflect and act on our promised hope and joy.

    Mornin’ Menage, Wee, and all. The thermometer said it was 51* this morning. I needed my jacket. Sun is burning of the slight overcast. Now we are past Thanksgiving and on our way to Christmas. Ha a great day.

    Hello everyone! Cold and lots of snow here yesterday. High temp is 37. My family left for home yesterday, and we all (the dog, cat and I) had a quiet and restful afternoon and evening. Tucker loves to have company, but now he is “tuckered out”!
