    Laura Logan again makes the point about the failure of the government in the fact that we are passing off CASH , disguised as humanitarian aid, to the Taliban and giving sensitive weapons paid for by taxpayers to the Taliban approved by our wonderful politicians!! As Laura says “both sides of the aisles “!! Does anybody think that this government at any level is doing a good job??? These Biden administration have decided to punish Trump supporters by doing anything and I mean anything to spite right thinking people!! They had rather destroy the country rather than let an outsider ,Trump, change their ability to feed from the public trough!! I will be willing to bet that the Taliban will contribute part of the “humanitarian aid” to Hunter and to the Biden Foundation!!!

      I disagree only that this isn’t being done to punish Trump supporters. He was just a blip in the forward movement of the plan. THIS IS THE PLAN. It has been the plan all along and now they are just working on it openly.

    Morning everyone. We have weather news from here today. It is sprinkling heavily and even though the temp is the same, 79*, it feels cooler. We still took our walk this morning. Loki didn’t seem to care about the rain. I still wasn’t able to get that drawer out in the cabinet. I guess I am going to have to go ask for help. I think it is going to take a man’s hands to do it. A nice day to all.

    On Thursday the Taliban gave permission for the first commercial charter flight to leave Afghanistan since the last American military plane departed nearly two weeks ago. A Qatar Airways flight with 113 Americans, US permanent residents and holders of passports from other countries left Kabul and flew safely to Doha, Qatar.

    The same plane had arrived in Kabul on Thursday with humanitarian aid and was prepared to depart with up to 200 passengers; however, because many had been in hiding from the Taliban, several couldn’t make it to the airport in time. Another flight has already been approved by the Taliban and is scheduled for Friday.

        Have you tried using an ad blocker? Of course, that would cut down on my income (which is tiny anyway).

        I use one and never see ads on WordPress and very little anywhere else either, including YouTube.

          I did have an ad blocker but none of them are compatible now.

          The awful thing is that yesterday Walmart also changed their website and now I’m not compatible with them. I’m furiously trying to find a replacement that will deliver fresh produce to my apartment for a reasonable expenditure. I did let Walmart know and they said to try the website in a few days as there might be some kinks they still need to work out. Maybe I’ll remain compatible. Hope-a-hope!

          Sigh!

      The article tries to make him her personal spokesperson, but he is not. A “Lord Lieutenant” is one of MANY in Britain. As of 2008, there were 99. This particular yahoo just happens to be in London. He is not a member of the Queen’s personal staff.

      Notice that he mentions the “Palace” and speaking with “the Royal household”, but definitely doesn’t quote the Queen.

      The only quote from the Queen in this article is in the last paragraph, which was issued after Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah:

      The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.

      The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.

      Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.

        He’s not even the “Lord Lieut” of all of London!

        The ceremonial county of Greater London does not include the City of London, which has its own Commission of Lieutenancy.

        The City of London is a city, ceremonial county and local government district that contains the historic centre and the primary central business district (CBD) of London.

    With all of the “horse paste” talk on social media platforms about using Ivermectin for treatment of Covid-19, I decided to look up info about it. This is from the NIH (National Institutes of Health) and it is (surprise!) mostly positive.

Corticosteroids have become an accepted standard of care in COVID-19, based on a single RCT of dexamethasone.1 If a single RCT is sufficient for the adoption of dexamethasone, then a fortiori the evidence of 2 dozen RCTs supports the adoption of ivermectin.

    Ivermectin is likely to be an equitable, acceptable, and feasible global intervention against COVID-19. Health professionals should strongly consider its use, in both treatment and prophylaxis.
