   Fire All U.S. Generals — I know this sounds radical, but read on… It sounds radical, but you will get used to the idea. It took time for people to warm up to the idea of firing General McChrystal. But a few of us set conditions for that firing. And when the spark came in the form of the Rolling Stones article, McChrystal was easily fired. McChrystal would have easily survived the Rolling Stone article if conditions were not set in advance.

   Just keep repeating, “Fire all U.S. Generals.” And when another President comes along and calls them all losers, the conditions will be set.

   Let’s be clear: None of those special operations leaders have stood up. No SEALs or any of the sexy stuff. They all go quietly and lose and our entire country loses. Fire the special operations senior leadership first. Not my heroes.

   The Taliban is celebrating a victory after claiming that they seized Panjshir, the final resistance point left in Afghanistan, on Monday morning. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed that the area was “completely conquered.”

   This is one of those “when pigs fly” moments…although he is running for re-election in 2022, so there’s that….
