The Taliban today announced they will not extend the August 31 deadline for US withdrawal from Afghanistan.
The terrorists are calling the shots now.

Taliban are doing a chagha. Pasthun always do this during times like this. A chagha is a cultural method of fighting. Like a shout out. Or come as you are. In Mindanao they call it a pintakasi (cock fight). Everyone just runs to the fight with or without weapons and figures out what to do when they show up. Chagha are very difficult to overcome unless you can run fast or reinforce. They will whip us with chagha unless we go heavy firepower and reinforcements, which we are not doing.
Taliban have the initiative. Watch as the moon gets black. Closer to new moon. They likely go for us on a dark moon. Things are becoming simpler now. All the big analysis will come down to this. Our habits and president versus the Pashtun way. They will not negotiate when they are in position of power. The power and initiative is in their hands. When the moon sets, watch out.
