Music of the day – You raise me up

I need a lift today. Hope it lifts your spirits too.

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary
When troubles come and my heart burdened be
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence
Until you come and sit awhile with me

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up… To more than I can be

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up… To more than I can be

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up… To more than I can be

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up… To more than I can be

You raise me up… To more than I can be

Such a lovely song. The music was written by Rolf Løvland of the Secret Garden Band duo in 2001. Lyrics are by Brendan Joseph Graham and added later.

Thanks for posting Stella. Yesterday was hectic for me, with unexpected company and appointments. This was a great thing to wake up to and enjoy with my coffee.
