      Maglic Summit is in Sutjeska National Park. The name Sutjeska shouldn’t just be hanging out there by itself in my caption….

      The excuse this time is that Bee and Gee were sitting on either side of my desk PURRING, apparently to get my attention, and I finally gave in and got them a snack. Then I decided to wash dishes, change the fur babies’ two bowls of water, clean out their potty room, wash my face for the night, re-arrange the bed that Gee messed up (he loves to sleep under the bedspread), read an article on evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson’s disappearance in the mid-20s and sudden reappearance in Mexico a month later, looking none the worse for wear; and FINALLY got back to my post which I thought I’d proofread but, if so, did a lousy job of it.

      Now it’s time to go to bed, but I don’t feel sleepy. Hope everyone else slept well.

        My fave thing about the Smokies is the view across many mountain tops.well good morning! You appear to have finished all the IMPORTANT chores (read “related to cats”) and can take the day off today.

          I’m used to being treated as a servant by Bee and Gee. Gee found one of my lightweight knitted gloves which dropped on the floor. He was throwing it up in the air and looking so cute that I gave him the other one to play with, too. So, OK, OK, I spoil them. Just an old softie.

          I read an article yesterday that scientifically/geographically the Smokies are part of the Blue Ridge Mountain chain. I thought they were two different chains, The Blue Ridge is now thought to go from Georgia to Vermont and doesn’t stop in Pennsylvania like many maps show…

          The mountains are eroded extensively past PA, which indicates that is the oldest part of the chain.

          This is a shot taken from the 469-mile long Blue Ridge Parkway. The caption didn’t say which state…

    Mornin’ All. It is Monday and I wonder what this week will bring. I saw something last night that said they are going to test the EBS system on Wed. They were talking like there might be more meaning in that. Also, Mike Lindell is having something special on his internet channel Tues, Wed, and Thurs. Could be a busy week. I have two appts. today, the Chiro and the eye doctor. Funny that both appts have been rescheduled twice and then ended up on the same day. Well, hope everyone has a nice day to start the week.
