Lucille, I’ve said before, if I won the lottery and could travel all over the world (in an imaginary Covid never happened world) I’d mostly want to go to the wilderness and wild places, not so much cities.
Until a few years ago my scant list was mostly, by order of interest here and may God forgive me, Venice, Dublin, Jerusalem, and Rome and Vatican City. Years ago Seattle was on the list, no longer of course. But I read a book featuring Prague, especially Old Town, and I was so taken with it that I’ve done a lot of reading on it. I’d sure love to go there too. Maybe I’d catch sight of the old Golem of Prague at night…

Good afternoon, Menagerie! As shown in photos and paintings, Prague is an incredibly beautiful city. As you know, the city’s 20th Century history is full of tragedy and oppression, but the beauty of the buildings, nature, and the people remains.

Judicial Watch: DC Medical Examiner’s Officer Requested Cremation of Ashli Babbitt’s Remains 2 Days after Murder — Email Sent to DC Govt. Was Returned in Chinese Characters

“On Tuesday Judicial Watch announced that it received 1160 pages of documents related to Ashli Babbitt’s murder in Washington DC.
“The documents include a request by DC officials to cremate Ashli Babbitt two days after her death. The documents also contain returned email to the DC government written in Chinese.”
Note from Lucille: I went to Judicial Watch to determine whether Ashli was cremated as requested by these officials since I couldn’t remember if they did. Found this:
“The newly obtained records reveal:
“On January 8, 2021, at 7:13 p.m., an application to cremate the body of Babbitt is labeled “completed successfully.” Copies of the permit are sent to OCME officials Kimberli Hall and SaVern Fripp, as well as Melinda Smith, Jennifer Love, Lisa Tabron, Jeanette Belle, and Perlieshia Gales.
“In a January 6, 2021, email sent at 9:48 p.m. from OCME official Denise Lyles to medical examiner Francisco Diaz, the subject line is, ‘Case #21-00106 ID Confirmed.’ [Case 21-00106 was Ashli Babbitt’s file number.]”

I started off reading at Gateway and wanted to use the photo they published of Ashli’s murderer because I think it’s important to keep what we can see of his visage in mind when we think of her murder. Judicial Watch does not use the photo or reveal the killer’s name, likely for legal reasons.

I missed this short vid on August 2nd but Dr. Victor Hanson has excellent points. Both he and Tucker are appropriately sounding the alarms. It will be a four-alarm fire before the year is out.

Mornin’ All. We got up late and took a walk in the rain. It was actually almost cool. A lot of times when it rains, it just get steamier and even if the temp drops a degree or two, it is just more uncomfortable. I am going to look for a raincoat for Loki today. She didn’t seem to care about getting wet, though. She used to not want to go out if it was even sprinkling a little. I don’t know why.
I read somewhere yesterday that the AG threatened to jail anyone who tried to do an audit of thew 2020 election. They are REALLY scared.

Back in the day when my sons played baseball as kids, the boys thought it was cool to get in fights on the field. I told my sons if they ever, ever got in a fight that was fine, as long as they understood that I would come right out on that field and tear them up in front of God and everyone else.
I was certainly not a pacifist mother, and they were always encouraged to defend themselves if needed, but back in the day of spectacle brawls, nope. So, they lost interest in it and went on to wrestling, where they actually were supposed to brawl. And I loved that sport.😀
