If only someone would nail him on the nursing home scandal.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo was found to have sexually harassed multiple women, including current and former state employees, New York State Attorney General Letitia James announced Tuesday morning after a four-month probe into the allegations.
In at least one instance, the investigation determined that the governor sought to retaliate against a woman who leveled accusations against him, identified in a report released by the AG’s office as Lindsay Boylan.
According to James, the probe found that Cuomo and his staff fostered a toxic work environment — though Cuomo has denied any wrongdoing and has sought in recent weeks to cast doubt on the integrity of the investigation…
When sexual harassment claims against Cuomo emerged in March, federal investigators were already reportedly probing his administration over concerns that it withheld damning data about nursing home deaths in New York. Cuomo has also faced scrutiny over reports that he prioritized testing for his family in the early days of the pandemic…
As part of the fallout from the sexual harassment claims, Cuomo faced calls from several high-profile Democrats — including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, D-N.Y., and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. — to resign. Cuomo has rebuffed those calls.

On August 12, 2019, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed into law sweeping changes to laws
prohibiting harassment and discrimination (sometimes collectively, the “Amendments”). The
Amendments build on New York State’s 2018 initiative to combat sexual harassment and
significantly expand and strengthen prohibitions against workplace discrimination and
New York State regulations declare that sexual harassment includes unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature – from unwanted flirtation to sexual jokes – that creates an offensive work environment, regardless of a perpetrator’s intent.
“Regardless of a perpetrator’s intent”……It’s been interesting watching Cuomo wrap himself with the cloak of ‘harmless’ intent….a defense that is denied by the law Cuomo signed into being.
Can you imagine if Democrat Cuomo was held accountable under the Democrat law that Democrat Cuomo sponsored and signed. Lordy, “Karma” might just die laughing….
