      To be honest, I’m a little confused by what/who Willie wants to vote against. And, that Conley woman hasn’t read the bill, I am certain. She says the only ID hr daughter will have in college is her college ID. I would bet money that she will be driving a car.

      Willie’s been way left for a long, long time. We forgive him down here because we know he pickled his brain a long time ago. We will never agree, but there will never be another like him, either. Sad how the left takes advantage of an 88-year-old dope smoker. 😉

      We’re at 84/overcast presently but won’t get hotter, maybe 85. Very different from yesterday which ended up at 103. The rest of our week will fluctuate between the 90s, 80s and 70s. Really unusual weather for us.

      Nope, we are at 98* with 56% humidity, sunny and very hot. Average temp this time of year is mid 90’s. Continuing hot til end of Sept., or into Oct. Laundry dries pretty fast, tho.

    Afternoon everyone. I wasn’t sure if I had even checked in this morning. Loki didn’t get me up until after 9:30. I can’t believe she waited and I can’t believe that I slept that long.

    Yesterday, I got bored and started watching magnet fishing. These guys just go out to a bridge or someplace and throw a big magnet in and see what they pull up. Hey, I told you I was bored. They get really excited if they pull up a gun or something. Then, they call the cops to come out and get it. Anyway, some of the guys merged over into scuba diving, too. They keep whatever garbage they find and take it to the dump. So, they are cleaning up wherever they were working. They each have their own YouTube show. A couple of time they have had the bomb squad come out to get a bomb they found.

    Anyway, that has been my day so far. 🙄

      Good afternoon, aus. It’s easy to get hooked on unusual YouTubes. I watch one guy all the time and he basically cleans yards and does gardening. Fascinating, though. It’s a non-challenging and pleasant way to come down off the “high” of watching political vids…LOL!

      I’m awaiting my Walmart delivery. The day is not going to be hot; so the delivery won’t melt. But I hope it’s not going to be late…not that it really matters…but I do like efficiency and deliveries on time.

    Interesting what Dennis says about what life was like in the Soviet Union. I had friends who escaped from Bulgaria, and they told me the same things.
