Waaaay back in the early 70’s we were bicycle camping around Europe. In southern France one day we were stopped on a sidewalk discussing something and an older French man came up to us and asked, “Anglais? (English?). We said ‘No, American’ and he repeated, ‘Ah, Amercan’ and grabbed our hands shaking them warmly with a big smile and again repeated, ‘American!’ Oh yeah, they still remembered only 25 or so years after the end of the War.

I love before/after photos. Much of the reconstruction of Europe was courtesy of the United States via The Marshall Plan. That’s one bit of foreign aid that’s OK by me. And, of course, the AXIS countries of Germany, Japan and Italy also benefited from Americans rebuilding their broken countries.

Mornin’ All. Weather is still sunny, warm humidity seems higher, etc. Got things to do today. Loki made friends with another doggie yesterday. That little doggie goes nuts when another dog walks by his patio and goes after them if he sees them when on a walk. I decided to let them meet and it was completely successful. Just a lot of tail wagging and butt sniffing. So, now they are friends. LOL. Everybody have a nice day. 🙂

Terrific! Now let’s get all the other states to do the same thing. It’s a practice that only cheaters want and they need to be stopped in their tracks pronto. The federal government isn’t interested in preserving free and crimeless elections. So it is up to the states…STATES’ RIGHTS NOW!
