    Mornin’ Wee, Lucille, and all. Same ol’, same ol’ weather here today. Just more beautiful sun. We could use the rain, though.

    Loki has been scratching a lot in her bed by my bed. She doesn’t anywhere else. So, I got one of those sticky things to catch fleas, or whatever is after her. There were some little straight things that are so small I couldn’t tell what they were without a magnifying glass. So, yesterday, I had the office send over the pest control guy to look at them and he said they definitely were not fleas and they don’t usually bother anybody. I’m glad there were NO fleas at all.

    Looks like some storms in the South. Please stay safe if you are in their path. 🙂

      Two tornadoes yesterday on the west side of NO and one about an hour west of here. Just some tree and roof damage. Had almost an inch of rain yesterday. Looks like more drippy rain most of today. Got the dogs out before it started, which is important because BD will not go out the door if it is raining. She bows down and refuses, then walks away.

      Funny thing is, Fat Freddie went out, sat under the table and stayed there until the puddles started to make his feet wet. Then he looked around and tried to decide if having wet feet was preferable to running in the rain to get in the open door. He is a mess.

      Good day to you, aus! The sun is sorta out and sorta in today. 52 degrees isn’t bad, but I did have to turn on the heater this morning just to take the chill off.

      But at least we’re not storming like Nice, France was in 1925 (I love black and white photos)…

    Hope this statement from President Trump comes through. A friend sent me the statement re the phony charges soon to come out of New York. It didn’t have a link and I don’t know where he got it.

    Listening to tonight’s SideBar with Viva and Barnes talking with Geeks and Gamers’ Ryan Kinel RK Outpost, one finds oneself supremely bored, an “I really don’t gas about any of this” attitude.

    Geeks write code. Great code Gamers write great games, in great code.
    These guys obsess over the games and movies that real geeks and gamers created.
    Now they’re talking about copyright strikes. We broke those well over a decade ago.

    Perhaps I’m just getting old. And grumpy. And Get Off My Lawn!!! {{sigh}}

    Here’s a list of House NeverTrumpers who voted to set up the January 6th Commission. Pathetic twerps, all of them, including one of Idaho’s two House members, Mike Simpson. I just wrote him a terse note. Thank God my representative, Russ Fulcher–a truly good man, did not vote against America and with the Marxists and Trump-haters.

    The 35 Republicans who voted in favor:

    Liz Cheney of Wyoming
    Tom Rice of South Carolina
    Dan Newhouse of Washington
    Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio
    Adam Kinzinger of Illinois
