Mornin’ All. Gotta hurry. When I finish my tea and toast, I have to finish packing and put it in the car. I’m looking forward to this week. Hope you all have a good day. 🙂

Started the day at 6 with the discovery there is no water coming out of my faucets. Walked to the pump and stared at it. Note, this is as useful as opening the car hood and staring at its contents: don’t know anything about either one. Did note the gauge on the holding tank was on zero. Fortunately, the guy Czar always called put a large sticker with his name and phone number on the tank, so I called and left a message (it was 6 a.m. you know). Czar always dealt with this man, and his son who came along from when he was about 13 or so. He comes from about an hour’s drive away, and has a large area he serves. Anyway, I spoke with him about 10, and he said his son (now in late teens) will be here around lunch.

Being without running water is weird. I get something on my fingers and turn on the faucet to get…nothing. The cat wants a drink out of the faucet…nothing. Coffee, I could make with bottled water. Oh, I’ll water the plants on the back porch…nothing. I finally made a cup of tea and am sitting on the back porch reading a book.

Funny, I was just thinking about this as I put a bowl in the kitchen sink to soak. I had recently watched “Victorian Farm”; they had to haul all of their water in buckets from the local stream.

I’ve lived with “dipped water” as it’s called here for brief periods (a week) while visiting small villages in bush Alaska. Gives you a whole new perspective on something we totally take for granted.

I had to laugh, but I know how frustrating it is to turn on the faucet and get…………nothing.

I just finished viewing a YouTube video at a channel discovered when looking for “reaction videos.” That’s where individuals play music or listen to speeches for the first time and then record their reactions. It’s quite the going thing. A goodly number of these channel proprietors are reacting to 2CELLOS music videos and I was just curious.

This particular fellow is monikered “X MilitaryCriminal” and has 59.9K subscribers. Anyway, I love his reactions to my fav group. So I went to his account to go over what other videos he’s put up and found one which tells why he has the X Military Criminal moniker. Wow…at the end I was shaking, crying and wrung out.

This is his vid description: “So I’ve only every told this story once and never in one complete sit down like this, took me a long time to make and it felt good to get it all out that way. I can probably never talk about it again. I’m sorry for the length of it, that’s mainly for me, I figure if I was going to do something, might as well do it to the fullest so this is why my name is the way it is and what made me choose this name.”

What our military goes through for us we can never repay.

I think he’s way too overexposed, but for this, I’ve got to give him credit, as Guy Fieri tried to do his part to help restaurant workers when they got shut down. He calls out the “Worlds Richest Man” for not helping a lick. Love it.

A more honest populace would see a much higher demand for ballot audits scattered around America.
Part of the problem is that none of our political leadership is willing to lead the way.
