Lucille, are you familiar with Scenes magazine? Seems right up your alley, you are such a film buff. James Woods tweeted this recently:

SCENES ISSUE 4 is out now, and it’s my favourite so far. It’s a film geek’s paradise. There are pieces on James Woods, Henry Jaglom, Charlie Chaplin, Marcello Mastroianni, Dennis Hopper and more. You can buy it now from my site!

Sorry, I don’t know how to make it look like an actual tweet, so I just copied the text. Anywho, made me think of you.

Thanks, Tundra. I don’t subscribe to SCENES but this issue seems a good one. I’ll check it out.

And speaking of interesting tidbits on films/actors…yesterday I ran across the following article after watching a video on English market towns. Hearing the name Fiennes led me to look up the acting brothers and discovered they are from aristocracy. I didn’t recall having heard that before.

January 11, 2018 By John Rabon

It’s arguable that the name Fiennes is one of the most famous in the United Kingdom, topped only by Windsor. This family line has produced clergy, soldiers, politicians, artists, authors, and more. Today, the family name is famous across just as many disciplines comprising industrialists, actors, musicians, painters, explorers, and photographers.

Btw, a good film to see at Eastertime stars Joseph Fiennes, RISEN. I saw it in 2016 when it came out. If you haven’t seen, well worth renting.

I just finished reading The Constitution of the United States of America a few minutes ago and could find nowhere therein anything which would cover this assertion by Speaker Pelosi. Anyone have any idea what Article or Amendment could possibly give her this right? She says the “rules” give her the right. What House rule gives her the right? No rule or regulation a political party puts in place supersedes the Constitution.

      Good Morning Lucille,

Article I sec 5, but it requires 2/3 thirds vote. Her right is to bring it to a vote, that’s about it.

Yes. This is like when she said she has as much power as the President. I sure hope they stand up against her. Even the Dems need to stand up. I am sure they don’t agree with everything that is happening.

Yes, Section 5…a somewhat vaguely worded section; but nowhere does it give Pelosi as an individual the “right” to expel a Member. That “right” was extended to the Speaker as an individual without authority of the Constitution. Every rule must be Constitutional. The question is, was this “right” extended under her direction or another Speaker’s? Either way, when was this done? Does her “right” also mean that Pelosi can expel the entire Republican minority if in her dictatorial usurpation she chooses to do so because of “white supremacy”?

Section 5: “Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members, and a Majority of each shall constitute a Quorum to do Business…(snip)

“Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behavior, and, with the Concurrence of two-thirds, expel a Member. …(snip rest of paragraph).”

It’s doubtful that 2/3rds of the House would vote in favor. Or has Pelosi changed it to a mere majority as opposed to what is laid out in the Constitution? IS NO ONE–CONGRESSIONAL MEMBER OR MEDIA–GOING TO KEEP POUNDING HER ABOUT THIS?

The more I read, and learn of what’s happening to our country…I am beginning to convince myself that somewhere we crossed over into another time dimension in the future! We are running out of explanations for the dystopic, evil machinations that have enveloped humans…😵

The more I find, out the more lI am convinced that Evil has taken over most if not all of our leaders. And, I read an article this morning about the people having black eyes. I don’t know if I believe a lot of it, but the number of people and who they are that have had a black eye in the pictures is unnerving.

Mornin’ Everyone. Looks grey and dismal out there so far. But, it is quite pleasant at around 70*. It got miserably hot by yesterday afternoon. I am so much better. My temp is almost back to normal and I feel pretty good. My DIL had sent me an herbal remedy that is supposed to help in healing and maybe it worked. All the aches and pains are gone and I feel normal again. I’m still going to play big slug today. Hope all of you are well. I’m concerned about anyone in the Georgia area. It sounds terrible.

Good morning mom! I’d sure like to know which herbal remedies your DIL provided that worked for you. We all should have a plan in place in case of a Wuflu attack. We live a very healthy and remote lifestyle here but still must go to the ‘big city’ periodically. Also, did anyone see the photos of homes destroyed in Alabama by the tornadoes? Shocking, they were ripped to pieces like ice-cream-stick houses – at least 5 lives lost.

Hi Weather — I have no idea how well it works on Wuflu, but at the slightest hint of a cold I start taking monolaurin and it gets rid of them. I get the Inspired Nutrition brand (see (also look at reviews on amazon).

I have a long history of never being able to just get a cold; it’s always settled in and turned into sinusitis, lasting 8-10 weeks and requiring ENT visits and rounds of antibiotics no matter how I tried to head it off. So far, approx. 2 years, this is over!

The herbals my DIL sent are from I was taking “Feel Better Fast”. I don’t know if this would work with COVID and I don’t know that that is what I had. I put it in orange juice and expected it to taste terrible, since most herbals do. But, it actually is very good tasting. They have a lot of really good products. I know they are expensive, but I have to say, the ones she sent me are all very good. One was a bar of the roughest soap I have ever felt. But, when wet, it is the slickest softest lather I have ever felt. And, it has helped the rough skin on my upper arms when nothing else ever has. I have used all kinds of lotions and none really made a difference. I have not used any lotion since I started using this bar of soap because I wanted to see if it actually did any good by itself. And, the improvement is from just the soap.

The other thing I keep in my cabinet near the stove is Skin and Wound Spray. It is by Nutribiotic and you can find it at or Amazon. I have used it on burns many times. In fact, while we were at the beach, I touched the element in the stove because it hung down about and inch and a half more than you would expect and burned my little finger pretty bad. Luckily, I had thrown this in my suitcase and sprayed it on my finger until the pain stopped, just a couple of minutes. The skin is stiff now and starting to peel off. Still no pain.

Hi, aus! It’s overcast but snow is all gone and the only rain predicted is for Sunday. Very doable even at 42 degrees.

I’ve opened the website. Which is the soap product you speak of in another post? I definitely could use it. Thanks!

Happy Friday all…God spared OK!🙏 The worst of the storms started AFTER the storms moved thru here. We will continue to pray ‘storm prayers’ as the season has just started and it looks to be earlier than normal and quite active this spring! In other news, paying attention to the Suez Canal debacle…the shortage problems we are having getting supplies are getting ready to increase 100 fold. Some articles are hinting at this could be by design! With the world going insane, anything is possible…🙄

    Have a Blessed Friday!

“The vast majority of Americans have always agreed on a few core ideals: the protection of free speech, the rule of law, and religious liberty.
