A dog memory in honor of our friend czar. One Christmas at the cabin we got almost a foot of snow. We had our son’s GSD, and she was young and goofy, and very excited. She kept running around and diving head first into the snow. Then she would get up and go at it again.
When we later had Yona, the GSD, come live with us czar helped me with a lot of advice. She was quite a different doggie experience to the retrievers we were trained by.

We had a Rottweiler from down South that we took with us to Upstate NY. He loved the snow. I was worried he wouldn’t want to be out in it and boy was I wrong. He would run and dive into it and bite it and didn’t even want to come back in.

The dog is very focused on someone next to the cameraman, who is probably giving hand sign commands.

I managed to do about 3 push-ups after a month of trying! Hahaha! Maybe I should have had a dog to help me train 🙂
