stella, this is more miss direction,do you not think if this was viable, your counterpart Sundance would have said something on CTH.And no one can discuss conspiracy theories. This is your site do as you wish.

Not misdirection. A simple question which you decided not to answer, but to attack me. You could have just told me why you are bothered by this post, but chose not to.

Sundance has nothing to do with what I post on my own blog and, as far as I know, he doesn’t even read it. He and I don’t usually post the same things.

Oh, and thanks for permission to “do as I wish”.

Seriously, do you never discuss things to which you don’t have the answer? Is speculation always a bad thing? Do you expect me to know for sure what is going on in the Middle East, or the Pentagon?

When I was a young lad, many many moons ago, my mother told me that if I had nothing positive to say, stay silent! If you are compelled to say something less than flattering, start by pointing out all the high points you can find. I find a lot of truth in that and most of all, it slows down the thought process to a more manageable level. Sometimes though, ad rem, some have to be whacked with a 2×4 to get their attention. I see a lot of this problem started as a result of the PC crowd. Today you get a time out, where when I was lad, I got a hot @$$.

Wow, what a way to hijack a thread. Putz.

Addressing the question, the original purpose of the post – Iran has been making noise recently, and coupled with the recent peace deals with Israel and Sunni countries, the theory seems plausible.
There are a good many dictators who view a war as a way to “unite” their country – see Xi, China.
It would be just like Pres Trump to return to D.C. and say nothing, rather than subject the residents of West Palm Beach to the necessary hardening of the defenses of Mara Lago,
