I can remember the morning light in Utah after a snow storm. The storm cleared the air and while the rising sun indirectly lit the valley from behind the mountains, as it crested the peaks the golden light would illuminate everything from trees to buildings from the top down.
Same up the valleys, but there you’d get the uneven lighting due to sunlight sneaking in from other angles. Probably not that much of that left now as the California nest-dirtiers have changed the Valley forever.

Ahhhhhhh yes, those were the days. Cigarettes, lighter and ashtray right next to the bed. One just before you go to bed and one immediately when you wake up.

My son’s here and he still smokes but I don’t get any pangs from smelling it.

I now hate the smell of a burning cigarette. I was a chain smoker for more than 20 years, but I quit 30 years ago. The first year I quit I still dreamed about it.

Same here, September 30, 1980 at 3:30 PM MST, start of my lone-man crypto shift. We couldn’t smoke in the crypto room, it would trip the fire alarms and I couldn’t leave the room without anyone in it.
I fought having people around me that still smoked in the office at my Army Center – it was hell – we had a 15×15 office that had a permanent layer of cigarette smoke about two feet down from the ceiling. However the alternative (facing Czarina was worse, so here we are some 40 years later…

When I quit (March 20, 1989) I was working in an IT office with another chain smoker. My boss also chain smoked, as did our primary hardware/software consultant. Meetings were hell!

Now that Peter Strzok and James Comey have very well-paying university jobs, it’s pretty obvious that corruption pays. The only question is, what’s going to be done about it all. Calling Bill Barr…. Calling the Supreme Court…. Crickets….

Now that the election is past, outing Joe and Hunter seems to be what they (Dems/Obama) want. Swally is past his sell-by date and don’t have no aces up his sleeve. Burnt toast.

Good way to remove Joe rather than waiting for him to melt down. Easier to find the requisite number of Dems to match the Rep’s numbers in the Senate to convict, especially if ordered. That would grease the skids for Marie Laveau.

I feel I may live, after 3 weeks of sleeping 10-12 hours a day, no appetite, a dry cough and a general ‘3 rounds with Mike Tyson’ feeling I was able to drive a 12-mile round trip without running off the road and cook our grandson dinner. I’m coughing a lot less and I’m less weak but that’s subjective. On the bright side I lost 21 pounds!

*Problem*: Elections are controlled exclusively by States. Ergo, no federal access to ballots or machines. The federal government has VERY limited jurisdiction, which States can EASILY obstruct.
*Solution*: Establish that foreign actors directly meddled in ALL State elections (2018 EO activated).
It ALL becomes a federal (National Security) issue. Ballots AND machines can ALL be seized – BY THE MILITARY – for targeted searches for evidence of FOREIGN interference.
