      Morning Lucille. I sure haven’t traveled a lot, but I have been to Lake Tahoe, and I just loved it. What beauty, even in the midst of so much development. Didn’t have my doggies with me though.

        Good day, Menagerie. Lake Tahoe is a national treasure, the majority of which is on the California side rather than the Nevada side. It was THE place for a vacation when I was a kid but expensive even then.

        Generally us ordinary folk can enjoy the lake area for a couple of days without denting the pocketbook too much…and we can bring our dogs. There are a number of pet-friendly places to stay, and picnicking outside isn’t restrictive most places. The fur babies do love their water frolicking as much as we do.
