  2. Hello All! 🙂

To go along with the marine and evening sky theme we have a most amazing artist: Fitz Henry Lane 1804 – 1865. A biography of this talented artist, crippled since a toddler, is here from the Cape Ann Museum: http://fitzhenrylaneonline.org/page/?name=biography

    This is “Fishing Party”

Here is the statue by Alfred Duca in Gloucester to honor him:

    Have a great day everyone ! 🙂

I do believe I’ve mentioned the ‘busing voters around’ shtick before…a lot of times before. Problem is there’s very little you can do about it as it’s either controlled by folks at the top or it’s set up along racial lines to displace folks at the top. In the former case it’s almost impossible to get anything done as the crooks control the system and in the later if they perps are caught it is quickly shoved over into the court of ‘racial voter suppression’.

I watched to polls a few times, we were there to prevent any violence but in reality we were there to lend an air of credibility to the crooked process. “Voter fraud!? Impossible as police/deputies were there from before opening to after closing!”

    • Oh my gosh! He’s so cute & fuzzy!
I always wondered why God put crows on earth, especially when they would wake you up at dawn (Grrrr), but if you have grubs in your lawn, they eat them. Personally, I think putting Milky Spore on the lawn is a lot more quiet, and does not have to be done at dawn. 😉
Have a great day WeeWeed, and thank you for all your uplifting comments each day! 🙂

Crows and ravens are too smart to be birds, they’re big brains trapped in bird bodies. WE had friends in Germany who had a crow as a pet and it was smart as a dog. Around here we have sizable flocks of them and they’re no problem at all.

Good afternoon, WeeWeed! Though crows are a mean bunch (a group is called a “murder”), the chicks are adorable. I looked up crows to see if anyone has an explanation of why it’s so unusual to see a chick.

Someone at Reddit came up with this: “You undoubtedly see very young crows, but don’t realize it. The tiny ones are still in their nests, and by the time they are able to fly/explore, they are about the size of an adult. They are a bit duller and their beaks are a bit stubbier, but they are easy to recognise if you know what to look for.”

California legislature has passed a bill that would lessen the consequences for a gay person having sex with an underage person. If the underaged person is between 14 and 17 and the age difference between the actors is less than 10 years the judge may use his/her/gender neutral term discretion as to placing the offender on the sex offender registry. The bill was introduced by State Rep Wiener (D) – and I ain’t going there – was passed in both the State House and Senate and is on its way to the governor’s desk where it will surely be signed.

The early Communists had doing away with all bourgeois sexual laws, especially those pertaining to minimum ages of consent. We’re on our way.

I am sooooooooooooooooooo glad I’m no longer with the SO’s civil section, I hated doing evictions but the mess we have now is a disaster. The sheriff should provide free booze at the end of the shift…if not before and after.

An eviction is draining, both emotionally and time-wise. If the residents haven’t moved their stuff we gave them time to gather up their personal items, get dressed, and deployed a paid team of movers to extract everything they owned and place it on the property between the street and the sidewalk. It was then their responsibility to somehow move it and/or secure it.

The moratorium on evictions ended and landlords hit the civil clerk’s office with buckets of eviction requests…only to have the CDC issue its new moratorium that has judges scratching their heads as to how to interpret it. Now each and every case is going to be argued using the CDC’s fuzzy instructions, putting the decision right on the judges head and opening up court clogging and expensive appeals regardless of how the judge decides. This is worse than a mess.

The Orleans Parish Clerk of Courts, whose office first gets the requests, is a black Democrat and is seemingly taking the side of the landlords…I wanna see how he explains that come election time. Meanwhile a lot of landlords are continuing to work with their tenants rather than fight thru the courts – I’m betting we’re going to see a lotta landlords writing off lost rent come April 15th. That’s going to hurt the state come tax time too. Other landlords are just going to roll the dice and carry buckets of eviction requests over to the Clerk’s office and see what they can get to work with. Whatta mess.

I want to know how the heck the CDC has the power to do this. I heard about it days ago and it may be the dangdest thing I’ve seen in a year of hot messes.

I think it’s a perfect political/bureaucratic punt. They took the responsibility for the entire issue and passed it too the courts. No matter what the courts decide the Feds can point at the judges and say it’s their fault, we gave the states the power and they made the call. ll of the splashback will be at the local level.

Secret Service Inadvertently Confirms Gateway Pundit Story About Biden Sexually Assaulting Agent’s Girlfriend

The utter cynicism toward and hatred of all the American people, though especially non-lefties, is evidenced in the Dem party nominating this weak, disgusting and shoddy man. Their action of trying to foist him onto the citizenry is nothing short of criminal.
